I started out driving poorly animals to Lynne, our Founder, while I was on furlough after the Covid pandemic. Eventually I wanted to do more so I asked Lynne and she was happy to teach and show me how. It has been the most rewarding thing I have done.

It isn’t always easy, or pretty, I had to whip my top off to throw over a swan who had crash landed in a farmers field to help catch it. Another time, I found myself neck deep in the river Stour along with a fellow volunteer.

 

There are many, many more stories! Most of the collections are very straightforward and ultimately it is a great experience.
