I met the amazing volunteers at Wildlife in Need when I had an injured baby blackbird. On my first visit I met Lynne, the founder, and it was the first time that I had held and fed a baby bird. I was hooked.
 

Hearing that they needed help with putting up a shed and materials, my partner and I have both volunteered to help on the DIY team. I volunteer when I can and love every minute. I have had several babies to care for at my home and it has been incredibly rewarding.
 

The volunteers are an amazing team I feel truly privileged to be a part of it. They and Lynne are truly miracle workers, working under extreme pressure but with a magnificent love of all wild life.
